Amara La Negra has joined forces with Latino-owned media outlet, Fuse, and NFT marketplace ThetaDrop to launch a collection inspired by her show “Don’t Cancel Me.”

The eight-episode, half-hour show launched Dec. 1 and brings important conversations between the Afro-Latina star and guest characters about colorism, LGBTQ+ rights, immigration, and body image to the table.

Within two months of its release, Fuse Media and ThetaDrop, an eco-friendly NFTs marketplace, will launch an exclusive series starring Amara.

As explained by HOLA, the NFTs were created with an innovative approach to make them collectible and useful. The launch will feature a VIP Platinum package that includes a signed poster from the series and a lifetime subscription to Fuse+, the first time a streaming service has offered a lifetime subscription as part of its NFT utility.

The package will also include a limited edition hoodie designed by award-winning Latina artist, cultural strategist, and social movement leader Favianna Rodriguez.

The second tier of NFTs will be Amara La Negra Digital Collection cards, including ten different collectible NFTs of Amara and artwork from the show “Don’t Cancel Me,” with special clips from the show transmitted to NFT holders.

In addition, HOLA continued, Fuse Media will donate a portion of the proceeds from NFT sales to the Voto Latino Foundation, a grassroots political organization focused on educating and empowering a new generation of Latino voters and creating a stronger and more inclusive democracy.
