By now, we should be used to Bad Bunny’s surprises, but seeing him in a Bridgerton-style headpiece on the Met Gala red carpet made us love him even more.

The world’s most important fashion event rolled out the red carpet for Latino talent. From Eiza Gonzalez to Benito, everyone ravished the spotlight.

Xiye Bastida

The young climate activist surprised us all with her authenticity. Bastida proudly wore her indigenous Mexican Otomi-Toltec identity through traditional handcrafted jewelry pieces.

Anitta

The favorite of Spotify and our hearts, Anitta stole the show in her purple Moschino dress.

Camila Cabello

Though it reminded many of some sort of cake shop, the “Bam Bam” singer wore a white Prabal Gurung two-piece gown. As Glamour explained, the floral details on the skirt are hand-painted and took over a month to complete.

J Balvin

Also sporting the Moschino label, the Colombian singer adopted the elegant style of the era with his respective green headdress.

Bad Bunny

Our favorite puertorriqueño once again made it clear that gender roles are not his thing. Benito wore a beige ensemble with a long Burberry-style skirt and a glam star headpiece.

La La Anthony

Our favorite MTV VJ made us fall in love with her burgundy LaQuan Smith stretch dress and Christian Louboutin shoes.

Lin-Manuel Miranda and Vanessa Nadal

The “Encanto” songwriter arrived at the Metropolitan Museum hand in hand with his wife in a traditional tuxedo while Nadal’s plum dress had us picking out new favorite colors.

Fabiola Beracasa Beckman

The Venezuelan producer paid homage to good taste with her pearl dress and long gloves.

Ariana DeBose

The Oscar winner enraptured us with the gold details of her beautiful dress.

Cardi B

Our favorite rapper came tinkling to the red carpet in a dress that reminded us of her pharaoh spirit.

Michaela Jaé Rodríguez

Our dearest MJ blew us away at the Met Gala with her costume and how good the gold looks on her.
