This is the second time Cardi B has made history this year. In March, she became the first woman rapper to have a track go Diamond. “Bodak Yellow” spent four weeks at No. 1 on the Hot 100, and the music video racked up more than 1 billion plays on YouTube.
Maroon 5 released the track in 2018, along with a video that featured an all-star lineup of famous women, including Jennifer Lopez and Gal Gadot and activists like Angy Rivera and Franchesca Ramsey.
