Cardi B’s fiery response came swiftly after a prank call triggered an unexpected visit from Child Protective Services (CPS) to her home. The rapper, in a visibly shaken Instagram Live video, recounted how CPS representatives arrived at her mansion late at night, based on an anonymous report that falsely claimed her three children were in danger. “These sons of b— have gone too far when you mess with my damn kids,” Cardi said.

Why CPS Allegedly Showed Up at Cardi B’s House

The call to CPS claimed that Cardi’s children had been abused, prompting the late-night visit. Cardi, who has three children with her ex-husband Offset, expressed her disbelief at the situation. “Not to my house, to my mansion with gates, at 11 p.m. while my kids are sleeping because there’s an anonymous call saying my kids have been mistreated and beaten. Are you f—ing crazy?” she exclaimed, clearly angered by the false accusation.

At the time of the incident, Cardi was in the hospital, undergoing treatment for an illness she had been battling since October 19. Filming from her hospital bed, she addressed the pranksters directly, warning them that their actions were far from amusing. “This is when pranks go too far. You f—ing idiots think this is funny, and it’s not funny,” she said. Cardi made it clear she intends to sue both CPS and the individual behind the anonymous call, saying, “I promise you this, I’m going to sue CPS for coming to my house at any hour. [I’m going to] sue the person who made this anonymous call.”

The Latina rapper revealed that she plans to hire a private investigator to identify the person behind the prank. Cardi emphasized that her children, Kulture, 6, Wave, 3, and a newborn daughter, are well-cared for. “My kids have never been touched, never been beaten no matter how upset they get. I never hit my kids,” she said.

Though Cardi and Offset, both 32, are no longer together after six years of marriage, Cardi didn’t hesitate to defend her ex, saying he would physically confront the prankster. “If you’re a guy, my baby father is going to beat you up. If you’re a woman, me and Hennessy are going to beat you up,” she said, referring to her sister, Hennessy Carolina.

While the prank may have been an attempt to provoke her, Cardi made it clear that the situation was no joke. “Not everything is a damn joke,” she declared, drawing a line in the sand for those who think otherwise.
