The Grand Hall of Monte Carlo’s Hotel de Paris turned into a space of celebration and generosity as Daddy Yankee and Eva Longoria were honored by the Global Gift Foundation on Saturday night. The gala gathered artists, philanthropists, and leaders from across the world to recognize two figures whose influence reaches far past entertainment. Both have built careers that merge success with compassion, using their platforms to serve others and strengthen their communities.

Honoring Purpose and Legacy

Daddy Yankee received the Global Gift Humanitarian Award in acknowledgment of more than twenty years of charitable work and social commitment. The foundation commended his dedication to improving lives through education, youth development, and community rebuilding in Puerto Rico and Latin America. Through the Corazón Guerrero Foundation and later the Daddy’s House Foundation, he has helped provide food for children, educational opportunities, and leadership programs that inspire future generations to dream beyond their circumstances.

Eva Longoria, actress, activist, and ambassador for the Global Gift Foundation, was also honored for her continued efforts to create opportunities for women, families, and marginalized communities. Her project Casa Ángeles provides resources and care for children with special needs and stands as one of the foundation’s most meaningful achievements. Longoria’s humanitarian work reflects her belief that empowerment grows when compassion meets action. Together, she and Daddy Yankee embody the idea that cultural influence can be a vehicle for real change.

A Shared Commitment to Service

In his acceptance speech, Daddy Yankee reflected on how his mission began with a simple yet profound goal: to feed children who were hungry. He said the purpose was never only to fill plates but to nourish hope, to remind children that they are loved and that their futures matter. He expressed gratitude to his team and volunteers, explaining that their hands made each act of service possible. Every smile, he said, was a symbol of what love and persistence can build over time.

Longoria shared the same spirit of collaboration and gratitude. She spoke of philanthropy as a collective act, built through the work of many. Her advocacy for education and equality has defined much of her public life, and her leadership continues to open doors for those who have long been left out of opportunity. Together, their stories created a portrait of service rooted in empathy and sustained by consistency.

A Night Dedicated to Giving at the Global Gift Gala

Founded by Spanish actress and entrepreneur María Bravo, the Global Gift Gala has become a signature event celebrating those who use their success to help others. Each edition supports programs dedicated to equality, education, and community development. The Monaco gala brought together philanthropists, artists, and dignitaries to raise funds and awareness for global causes.

For both honorees, the night was less about receiving an award and more about honoring a journey built on giving. Daddy Yankee’s humility reflected a life guided by faith and gratitude, while Longoria’s dedication continues to redefine what advocacy looks like in entertainment. Their paths converged in Monte Carlo to show that true influence is not measured by fame or applause but by the ability to serve.
