‘Silent Joy,’ a Poem by Sawhney

I wrote this poem to contemplate and acknowledge the small accomplishments I achieved through my own labors. I have encountered people who I love very much that want to see me do well, but on their terms. Friends and family can be your biggest supporters, but unfortunately, sometimes they can be your biggest detractors.

This is a way of silently fighting against those who do not yet understand what I am working toward with hopes of one day showing them the magic I created. It is a reminder to keep moving forward and to never hold back from doing what you love. Moving in silence is better than not moving at all.
