Did you know that the main actress in “Victorious,” Victoria Justice, is Latina? We didn’t either. All this time we had a Latina-spearheaded popular Nickelodeon show and we didn’t even know it! What a pleasant surprise for many!

In a recent interview with Netflix, she talks more about her Puerto Rican culture – and we can’t get enough of it. “As some of you may know, my mom is Puerto Rican. Today, I am sharing some of my favorite parts of my Boricua culture with you,” Justice said on a TikTok clip for Netflix’s Con Todo.

As Dembow gains mainstream popularity, you may have been hearing of “La 42” — also known as “La 42 de Capotillo” — in the Dominican Republic.

“La 42” (la cuatro-dos) has been making it to the headlines and becoming a well-known area, even for tourists and foreigners, after different music artists portray life in the sector. It is often included in their music videos as well.

“La 42” made it to the stage of Bad Bunny’s “World’s Hottest Tour” when artist Ángel Dior, who calls himself “El Rey De La 42,” joined el Conejo Malo during last Friday night’s sold-out concert.
