Happy Monday, BELatina.

We started the week still unable to digest Friday’s news. Between marches and discussions around the dinner table, the only thing we’ve been thinking about this weekend has been the overturning of Roe v. Wade and the fear we have of what’s to come.

But as we well know, the best tool is always to be well informed. That’s why we always start our weeks by bringing you the most important news.

From the signs of discontent over the Supreme Court decision to the winners of the Tu Música Awards, these are the most important news of the weekend.

Olivia Rodrigo and Lily Allen say ‘F*ck You’ to the Supreme Court at Glastonbury Festival

Olivia Rodrigo ensured her first appearance at Glastonbury Festival would be unforgettable when she brought pop star Lily Allen on stage for a duet of Allen’s “F*ck You.” Rodrigo dedicated the song — which includes lyrics like “look inside your tiny mind, now look a bit harder/’Cause we’re so uninspired/So sick and tired of all the hatred you harbor” — to Supreme Court Justices Samuel Alito, Clarence Thomas, Neil Gorsuch, Amy Coney Barrett, and Brett Kavanaugh, who all voted to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Around the nation, demonstrators show support for abortion rights

Under an inclement sun, but with anger in the air, thousands of people demonstrated across the United States against the decision of the conservative majority of the Supreme Court to overturn Roe v. Wade.

Illinois Republican tells Trump rally that Roe verdict a ‘victory for white life’

Illinois Republican Mary Miller told a crowd at a rally held alongside former president Donald Trump that the supreme court’s decision to overturn Roe v Wade was a “victory for white life.” “President Trump, on behalf of all the Maga patriots in America, I want to thank you for the historic victory for white life in the supreme court yesterday,” she said, drawing cheers from the crowd in Illinois. Miller is running for reelection in the state’s newly redrawn 15th congressional district against GOP Republican Rodney Davis with the former president’s blessing. She had been invited on stage to speak by Trump, who held the rally in Mendon, Illinois, to turn out the vote ahead of the state’s primary on Tuesday.

Gina Rodriguez to Star in ‘Spy Kids’ Reboot on Netflix

It looks like Spy Kids creator Robert Rodriguez has found his new spy family for his family adventure franchise. Gina Rodriguez, Zachary Levi, Everly Carganilla, and newcomer Connor Esterson are set to star in the upcoming film from Netflix, Skydance, and Spyglass.

Rodriguez will write, direct and produce the next film, introducing the world to a new family of spies. Racer Max will co-write the pic. The film marks Rodriguez’s second family film with Netflix following the success of the 2020 family action film “We Can Be Heroes.”

Female artists took over the spotlight for the first time at the Premios Tu Música Urbano awards. The annual celebration — which was held in San Juan, Puerto Rico, on Thursday — had Karol G taking home the gold with nine awards, including artist of the year, top social artist, tour of the year for “Bichota,” and collaboration of the year for the Becky G-featuring “Mamiii.” The ceremony featured a variety of 19 performances. Most notably, Christian Nodal performed his regional urban single “Botella Tras Botella” and joined Valeria Fernandez for an unexpected regional urban medley. Farruko also captivated audiences with a performance of his song “Guerrero,” his latest track “Nazareno” with DJ Adoni, and the song “Luz” with Panamanian Akim.
