GALE made us reminisce as the formidable three-time Latin GRAMMY nominee unveiled a beautiful cover of Shakira’s 1998 hit “Inevitable.” This rendition breathes new life into the cherished song, originally part of Shakira’s iconic album “Dónde Están los Ladrones.”

This musical event comes right after GALE was hailed as the “New It Girl” by Rolling Stone. The esteemed title coincided with the release of her debut album, “Lo Que No Te Dije” — this is a mixture of pop melodies and confessional lyricism. The album has already garnered acclaim, securing spots on Rolling Stone’s “Best Albums of 2023” and Billboard’s “Best Latin Albums” mid-year and year-end lists.

Behind the Musical Path of GALE

Anyone can navigate the landscape of GALE’s artistry through the 12 tracks that form her debut album. From the defiant tones of feminist punk anthems to the tender embrace of heartbreak ballads and the ethereal allure of dream-pop odes to self-pleasure, this Latina artist effortlessly traverses genres like pop, Eurodance, punk, grunge, and urban flow. Standout tracks include the chart-topping “Nuestra Canción,” “Problemas,” and “Inmadura.”

Beyond her solo endeavors, GALE’s songwriting talent has made waves. From her eternal muse Shakira to Christina Aguilera (earning her a 1st Latin GRAMMY nomination for “Album of The Year”), Manuel Turizo (securing her 3rd Latin GRAMMY nomination for “El Merengue”), Anitta, Cardi B, and Juanes (who welcomed her as a supporting act on his headline tour in Spain last summer), she’s come into the musical industry with a bang.

A commanding presence on any stage, GALE made her Latin GRAMMY debut in Sevilla last year, sharing the spotlight with fellow Best New Artist nominees and Juanes. Her silky voice also echoed at the F1 Miami Grand Prix, where she serenaded the audience with the US national anthem. GALE also made significant contributions to events like the Latin Alternative Music Conference and Billboard Latin Week.

As her star ascends, GALE is set to embark on a global tour, gracing stages across Mexico, Miami, and South America from February to March. Aside from that, you can prepare to witness her magnetic performances at Picnic Fest, Vibra Urbana, Lollapalooza, Ceremonia, and Pal Norte.

There is no denying that GALE is a force to be reckoned with. Have you listened to her music lately?
