Undoubtedly, Bad Bunny’s success has a lot to do with his proximity to real people. It has been precisely his storytelling that has made him closer to his fans, and he doesn’t take it for granted.
Just look at his clever way of announcing the title of his next album.
As reported by Rolling Stone, on Thursday night, a mysterious ad appeared on a Puerto Rican classifieds website, featuring a Bugatti Chiron for sale by one Benito A. Martinez Ocasio (Bad Bunny’s actual name). Upon calling the number listed on the website, fans soon discovered a song snippet and received a text message stating that his new album was called “Un Verano Sin Ti.”
The text specifies that the album does not yet have a release date. It’s from Bad Bunny himself and reads, “Hi! 🙂 Thanks for calling. There’s not much time left before the album comes out. I can’t tell you the date yet, but I can tell you the name: Un Verano Sin Ti”.
Benito thus continues his unstoppable pace of productivity, having been one of the most prolific artists during the COVID pandemic. “Un Verano Sin Ti” will follow his successful “El Último Tour del Mundo,” which has set records worldwide.
According to Billboard, the 35 shows on the tour grossed $116.8 million and sold 575,000 tickets.
In addition, Bad Bunny won a Grammy Award for Best Urban Music Album and collaborated on reggaeton pioneer Daddy Yankee’s latest album, “X Última Vez.”
