The launch of Nadia Ferreira’s first fragrance, DAMA, carried the essence of her story and the strength of her roots. At Light F/X Studios in Miami, every detail of her commercial’s campaign was shaped with care, from the glow of the lights to the set design that allowed the fragrance to shine. For the Cuban American founders of the studio, working with Nadia was a chance to celebrate a shared cultural commitment to supporting Latino talent.

Nadia Ferreira’s Journey

Nadia Ferreira was born in Paraguay on May 10, 1999, and her story began with challenges that tested her resilience. According to Hola, she was diagnosed with congenital torticollis as a baby, requiring surgery when she was only eight months old. That experience marked her early life but did not define her future. Her blue eyes and radiant smile became part of her identity, signaling the promise of the woman she would later become.

As a child she dreamed of beauty pageants, supported by her mother Ludy and her sister. Modeling soon followed. In 2017 she gained recognition, and by 2018 she was walking the runway for Custo Barcelona during New York Fashion Week. Invitations came from Doha, Milan, Paris, Santiago, Brazil, Uruguay, and Paraguay, each appearance shaping her international career. At nineteen she signed with Wilhelmina, securing her place in the fashion world.

In 2021 she was crowned Miss Universe Paraguay, a title that carried her to the Miss Universe competition, where she finished as the first runner-up. That recognition introduced her to audiences across the globe and eventually brought her into contact with Marc Anthony, with whom she now shares a widely followed love story.

DAMA at Light F/X Studios

When Ferreira chose Light F/X Studios to launch her debut fragrance DAMA, she stepped into a creative space that understood how to turn vision into reality. The commercial was designed with precision, every detail carefully captured, from the lighting that gave the set its glow to the staging that carried the fragrance’s essence through every frame. The result was a project where DAMA could shine fully and present itself to the world with the grace that Nadia envisioned. Today the fragrance is available through @shopnadiaferreira, offering her audience the opportunity to experience the project in its entirety.

“We’ve been in the media and entertainment industry for over 25 years and have learned what works into making anything come to life and that’s exactly what we wanted to share with Nadia,” explained Orlando Robinson, one of the Cuban American founders of Light F/X Studios.

Latinos Lifting Latinos

The collaboration between Ferreira and the studio represents a fragrance launch that is also a reflection of how Latinos support each other, building careers and dreams with collective strength. Light F/X Studios offered technical mastery and cultural understanding, while Nadia brought her personal story and rising influence. Together they created something that extends across borders.

“Nadia choosing us to represent this big milestone in her life with DAMA shows the power of Latinos supporting Latinos, and that is what it is all about,” said Ernie Ruiz, who co-founded the studio alongside Robinson.

Her career continues to move forward, now with DAMA as part of her legacy, and Light F/X Studios remains ready to open its doors to other artists who want their projects treated with the same care. For both Nadia and the Cuban American founders of the studio, the message is clear: Latino talent flourishes when it is nurtured by community, collaboration, and mutual support.
