Karol G is entering September with a calendar unlike any she has experienced before. Fresh from the release of her new album Tropicoqueta and the wave of interviews and appearances that followed, she is stepping onto some of the most iconic stages in the world. The Colombian singer has been confirmed as one of the special guests at the Grace from the World concert in Vatican City, and later this month she will become the first Latin artist to perform at the Crazy Horse in Paris. Both moments show how her music now flows into spaces that combine tradition, art, and cultural history with contemporary voices.

A Global Celebration at the Vatican

The Grace from the World concert will take place on September 13 in St. Peter’s Square as part of the closing ceremony for the third edition of the World Meeting on Human Fraternity, scheduled for September 12 and 13. Admission will be free and open to the public, with a live broadcast available worldwide through Disney+ at 1:00 p.m. Colombian time.

Karol G will share the stage with Pharrell Williams, who produced the track Ivony Bonita from her new album and with whom she crossed paths during Paris Fashion Week earlier this year, and with Andrea Bocelli, with whom she has reunited after working together on a new version of Vivo Por Ella. The lineup also includes John Legend, Teddy Swims, Voices of Fire, Clipse, Angelique Kidjo, and Jelly Roll.

In her Instagram stories, Karol G celebrated the invitation by posting the official announcement. She also reposted a photo shared by Pharrell Williams, who is directing the event alongside Bocelli and preparing a performance that will feature a 250-voice choir, drones, and a visual display inspired by the Sistine Chapel. The concert has been described as a celebration of peace and fraternity through music and art, closing two days of dialogue with a shared message carried through song.

A Parisian First at Crazy Horse

Once her Vatican performance is complete, Karol G will travel to Paris to begin a new chapter of her career. Between September 25 and 28, she will perform eight exclusive shows at the Crazy Horse cabaret, a legendary venue founded in 1951 and known for its blend of artistry, sensuality, and elegance. The residency will feature numbers designed specifically for the occasion, bringing her Latin sound into dialogue with the Parisian tradition of cabaret.

On social media, Karol G expressed her excitement about the opportunity to bring her music to spaces with such history. “La música me ha dado la oportunidad de presentarme en escenarios emblemáticos, soñados!”, she wrote. She promised that audiences at the Crazy Horse shows will experience surprises and a performance created to match the moment. She added, “Un encuentro donde mi música latina se mezcla con la sensualidad y la elegancia de su show… y vivirlo junto a sus icónicas mujeres lo hará aún más especial.”

Andrée Deissenberg, general director of Crazy Horse, spoke of the decision to invite Karol G. She said that the Colombian artist “encarna un verdadero girl power” and explained that her energy made the collaboration natural. “Encontrar beats latinos en el Crazy Horse es algo totalmente inédito en más de 70 años de historia, pero no dudé un segundo: me sedujo su personalidad única. De hecho, Karol G ya era plenamente Crazy Horse.”

A September That Extends Her Reach

For Karol G, September represents more than the promotion of a new record. It is a demonstration of how her music travels across borders and languages, entering spaces that symbolize both tradition and reinvention. Vatican City offers her a platform tied to values of peace and fraternity, while Paris places her in the intimate and iconic setting of one of the world’s most famous cabarets.

Each performance is unique, yet together they reinforce her role as a figure who carries Latin music into international spaces where it has rarely been heard. The Bichota has built her career on the strength of her sound and her presence, and this month she steps into new arenas that promise to leave a lasting impression on her story as an artist.
