Latina Stars Made Their Way Into Instagram Threads – Here Is How They Are ‘Threading’

There’s a new social media app in the market and many have flocked to it already. If you haven’t heard about it by now, the app is called Threads and it was built by the Instagram team. Like Twitter, this platform will allow people to share text updates and join public conversations.

Many people are saying it’s a great time for this new app to come around because Twitter’s quality seems to be decreasing. Recently, Twitter’s CEO, Elon Musk, rolled out a new option that restricts how many Tweets they can interact with a day. Of course, that threshold increases if some cash is coughed up – and most regular social media users feel wary about paying for their social media. Also, it is important to remember that social media has acted as a lifeline for many people. From mental health help to job opportunities, it allows for communities to be built in an organic manner, for the most part.

How to Use Threads

So, the dopamine that comes with finding a new app to overshare and build your personal brand is here and everyone is trying to gauge what type of space will this be. Will it be respectful? Will it incite thoughtful conversations? Or will it be something completely different than us social media users used to?

According to the Instagram team, you can log in using your Instagram account and posts can be up to 500 characters long and include links, photos, and videos up to 5 minutes in length. As for minors, Threads took cautionary steps and made sure to default the account of anyone that’s under 16 (or 18 in some countries) to private. As someone who’s been using Threads for less than 24 hours, I can say that it is easy to use and familiar. My personal favorite part was how it transferred my information from Instagram; I didn’t have to go through the often-grueling process of setting up a new account.

What Latina Stars Are ‘Threading’

Of course, the other great part of a new platform is seeing how others interact with it. Though it’s been less than a week since it’s been out, there are plenty of Threads available to read from already – including threads from the community’s favorite Latinas.

Let’s look at what these Latinas are saying:
