Bretman Rock has always given primo Latino vibes, and the Filipino American content creator and global icon has earned his honorary status in our community a thousand times over. When he is not rounding up his dozens of chickens in Hawaii or giving us an educational tour of every exotic fruit growing in his backyard, he is out here doing great things, and his latest move has him standing next to one of our own Latina queens, Julissa Prado, founder and CEO of Rizos Curls. The collaboration between Bretman and Rizos Curls for the brand’s new Gloss and Repair Collection is exactly the energy we needed, and the fact that it exists makes the world a slightly better place.

Rizos Curls launched the Gloss and Repair Collection at ULTA Beauty on August 23rd before expanding to RizosCurls.com on September 1st. The collection includes a shampoo, conditioner and oil serum, all formulated to repair damaged strands and restore shine to dull, color-treated hair, with Bretman serving as the face of the campaign, his signature hair styled by celebrity hairstylist Angel Gonzalez.

Julissa Built This for Every Curl That Has Been Through It

Julissa Prado described the collection as Rizos Curls’ curl-centered take on the glass hair trend, rooted in her own experience of coloring her hair and wanting products that supported her curls’ radiance rather than compromising it. The formulas are silicone-free, clinically proven to infuse shine, fight frizz and seal the look of split ends, powered by hyaluronic acid, mango extract, a repair complex and over 13 vitamins and amino acids that nourish and visibly strengthen hair over time. The collection was designed for anyone navigating damage from bleach, color services, heat styling or everyday environmental stress, which covers a wide range of curl textures and hair histories, and the three new formulas join the bestselling Gloss and Repair Mask from earlier in 2026 to complete a full repair regimen for curls, coils and waves.

The Gloss and Repair Shampoo at $22 gently removes buildup while strengthening damaged strands and restoring shine without stripping moisture. The Gloss and Repair Conditioner, also $22, delivers intense moisture while softening and sealing the look of split ends for hair that feels silky and strong. The Gloss and Repair Oil Serum at $23 is a silicone-free finishing oil that melts into hair to smooth frizz and deliver mirror-like shine with a weightless dry-touch finish that leaves no residue or heaviness behind.

Bretman and Julissa Together Is the Collab We Did Not Know We Needed

Bretman Rock was already a longtime Rizos Curls fan before this campaign, which is the detail that makes the whole thing feel genuine rather than transactional. His hair has always been one of his most recognizable assets, and seeing it styled by Angel Gonzalez using a collection built for high-shine repair gives the campaign a credibility that purely aspirational beauty advertising rarely achieves. Bretman brings his full personality to everything he touches, and Rizos Curls is a brand built on personality, community and the genuine belief that everyone deserves to love their natural texture. The combination of those two energies in a single campaign is the kind of pairing that makes sense the moment you see it, even if nobody predicted it coming.

Julissa has spent nearly a decade building Rizos Curls into a movement that is now available at ULTA Beauty, Target, Nordstrom and Sally Beauty Mexico, and choosing Bretman to represent this collection signals exactly the kind of expansive, inclusive vision the brand has always stood for. He is not a conventional choice for a curl-centered campaign and that is precisely why it works. The collection is available now at ULTA Beauty and at RizosCurls.com, and if Bretman’s hair in those campaign photos is any indication of what these products deliver, the waitlist is going to be long.
