Ozuna has unveiled a glimpse of his upcoming biographical film Odisea, a project that marks a new chapter in his career as both producer and actor. The film, the first to be released under Ozuna’s production company, Bear with Oz Films, promises to offer an intimate look at the artist’s life.

About ‘Odisea’

Directed by the celebrated Spanish filmmaker Alexis Morante, whose previous works have spotlighted artists such as Alejandro Sanz and David Bisbal, Odisea brings together a compelling narrative and a seasoned director’s vision. Known for his ability to craft powerful visual stories, Morante is expected to bring a dynamic energy to this deeply personal project.

The story chronicles the transformation of Juan Carlos Ozuna Rosado into the international star known as Ozuna. The film weaves through the highs and lows of his personal and professional life, from the adversities he faced to the milestones he achieved. Themes of resilience, love, and ambition drive the narrative, making it a relatable tale for a wide audience, particularly Latin music enthusiasts who connect with real stories.

Shot across breathtaking locations in the Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, and New York, the production showcases the combined efforts of Caribbean Films, led by Zumaya Cordero, and Ozuna’s own executive production. This collaboration elevates the film as a significant milestone for the Caribbean film industry.

The cast reflects the film’s commitment to authenticity, featuring Hollywood stars with Latin roots such as Jorge Lendeborg Jr., Dania Ramírez, and Ana María Estupiñán. Joining them are talents like Jencarlos Canela, Milly Quezada, and Jessica Cediel, creating a roster of performers as Ozuna’s own career.

What This Means to Ozuna

After starring in Que León and Que Leones and making appearances in major Hollywood productions like F9 and Tom & Jerry Movie, this project represents a deeply personal endeavor. “I worked on this with great dedication, hoping my story inspires kids and young people to chase their dreams no matter what obstacles they face. I’m living proof it’s possible,” Ozuna shared in a statement.

Complementing the film is a robust soundtrack featuring Ozuna’s biggest hits alongside original compositions by Lucas Vidal, the renowned Spanish musician based in Hollywood.

Odisea is slated for 2025 in theaters and streaming platforms.
