He is the most popular artist on the globe according to the charts; the most listened to on all platforms, the most prolific before and during the pandemic. Now, Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio, better known as Bad Bunny, has once again surprised his fans with a photoshoot for Vogue, where he models the bags of the season.

Chanel, Louis Vuitton, Alexander McQueen are just some of the great brands that the Puerto Rican singer held in his hands while posing for Stefan Ruiz, the photographer in charge of capturing the photoshoot for the February 2022 issue of the magazine.

And it’s not just any shoot. Ruiz’s veteran eye, which has captured everything from political figures to indigenous communities, brought to the forefront Bad Bunny’s indomitable spirit, known for doing “lo que le da la gana.”

Benito has broken with the social conventions imposed on the once macho and misogynistic reggaeton genre and has amassed a fan base that advocates, like him, breaking paradigms.

“I was always a very independent child,” Bad Bunny told Vogue over the phone from a hotel room in Las Vegas. “I liked to dress my own way, do my own things, make my bedroom my own space.”

“If I walked by a garden and I saw some flowers, I would pick them to bring them to my mom,” Benito continued. “I was a bit of a clown, but I was also a bit shy, and I would also consider myself a loving boy.”
