Cazzu’s arrival in Mexico City on October 13 drew the attention of many people since it was a special moment. The Argentine artist, whose full name is Julieta Cazzuchelli, stepped into the capital’s airport accompanied by her mother and her daughter, Inti. The scene would have seemed like a routine stop on her Latinaje tour, which includes shows in Mexico City, Guadalajara, and Monterrey, if not for the months-long legal dispute with her former partner, Mexican singer Christian Nodal, over travel permissions for their child.

A Legal Battle and a Mother’s Determination

Before boarding her flight, Cazzu had to secure special authorization from a Mexican court to travel internationally with her daughter. Speaking to the press gathered at the airport, she explained that the authorization came through a judicial order rather than mutual agreement. She described the process as a unilateral permit requested from the court, which granted her permission to travel because she could demonstrate the necessity of doing so for her work commitments. The judge approved the request despite Nodal’s lack of consent.

Cazzu’s comments revealed the effort it took to balance motherhood, art, and the legal complexities that accompany public life. She explained that while she had fulfilled all the legal requirements, she remained open to cooperation with Nodal. According to her account, the singer’s legal team had recently reached out to discuss the possibility of arranging a meeting between him and their daughter. She confirmed her willingness to make that happen, although she acknowledged that the outcome was uncertain.

A Conflict That Reaches the Public

The public has followed Cazzu and Nodal’s separation closely since their breakup last year, but the conflict reached a new level when Cazzu disclosed details of the custody dispute during an interview on the podcast Se Regalan Dudas. There, she described the emotional toll of navigating a legal process that at times made her feel powerless. She recalled how she had spent months requesting travel permission for her daughter while continuing to tour internationally. She explained that she and her team proposed several alternatives to Nodal’s representatives, including limiting the duration of the travel authorization, yet the matter remained unresolved until a judge intervened.

Cazzu reflected on that period with visible emotion, describing how the experience left her disheartened. She recounted feeling a profound sense of discouragement when her requests were ignored despite her career requiring frequent travel. Her account illustrated the emotional strain of being both a working mother and a public figure whose private struggles play out under public scrutiny.

Between Stage and Motherhood

Now back on tour, Cazzu has continued to share moments with her daughter while balancing performances and motherhood. Now, the court’s decision allows her to travel with her daughter without relying on Nodal’s consent, giving her the stability she sought after months of uncertainty.
