The Afro-Latina rapper, Cardi B, is adding something to her long list of talents. You can now find her as part of the voice cast of the upcoming animation film, “Baby Shark’s Big Movie!”

According to Variety, the film is the first feature-length spin-off from “Baby Shark’s Big Show!” This is a preschool series that began in 2021 on Nickelodeon-branded channels and platforms; it is now in its second season. The film and the TV series are produced by Nickelodeon Animation in the United States.

Cardi B has demonstrated her commitment to her children via social media and has emphasized the importance it is for her to be a good role model for them. She and her husband, Offset, have two beautiful children together: Kulture and Wave.

Making this a family event, the “I like it like that” singer is joined by her family in this venture. The character named Offshark will be voiced by Offset, the voice of Kulture Sharki is being delivered by Kulture, and Wavey Shark by Wave. Cardi B is behind Sharki B.

The Dominican-Trinidadian artist tweeted about the news on March 30th.

“Happy to announce that me & my family will be in the BABY SHARKS BIG MOVIE,” she wrote on Twitter.

Premiering exclusively on Paramount+ in the United States and internationally, the film sees Baby Shark forced to leave behind the world he loves after his family moves to the big city.

Cardi B and her family are working alongside other notable names such as Lance Bass and Ashley Tisdale.

Food for thought on Cardi B

Despite being scrutinized for years for her racy lyrics and for being “too sexy,” Cardi B is reminding people that her mothering skills are intact. She makes it known in her music, how she speaks about them, and the different moves she’s made since becoming a mother. This goes to show not to judge a book by its cover.

Will you be watching “Baby Shark’s Big Movie!” with your family?
