His Family Reacts to the Death of Jesús Guerrero

Guerrero’s sister, Gris Guerrero, was the one to announce his passing, sharing the tragic news with heartfelt words: ” It is with a heavy heart that we let the world know that Jesus Guerrero has gone to heaven. He [was] a son, a brother, an uncle, an artist, a friend, and so much more. Born and raised in Houston, TX to immigrant parents, Jesus learned how to work hard and dreamt of taking his skills to the top. Unfortunately, his passing came very suddenly and unexpectedly.” To help cover funeral expenses and transport his belongings back to his hometown, Gris has set up a crowdfunding campaign, which has already raised more than $93,000 since the writing of this article.  There’s no denying he was loved by many.

Though the official cause of death has not been confirmed, reports suggest that Guerrero fell ill while traveling abroad. It is believed that he passed away in the hospital due to pneumonia, though there has been some speculation online about possible medical negligence. As of now, no details have been verified.

A proud Latino, Guerrero’s success was a reflection of his determination and immense talent. His passion for hair transformed the looks of celebrities and also earned him the respect and admiration of his peers. Known for his professionalism and warm personality, Guerrero was beloved by those he worked with – and this is how he will now be remembered.

Jesús Guerrero may have left us far too soon, but his legacy as a gifted stylist and a kind person will live on in the countless stars whose careers he helped shape and the memories of those who were fortunate enough to know him. Rest in peace.
