Reggaeton singer Natti Natasha is not only beautiful, sexy, and humble but the multifaceted star, as of this writing, holds the title of most-watched woman on YouTube — over 4.52 billion views just in 2018 to be more specific. Born as Natalia Alexandra Gutiérrez Batista in Santiago de los Caballeros, Dominican Republic, she arrived to the United States at 18-year-old prepared to work her way up from the bottom. Despite difficulties in her career, Natti always kept her head held high and focused on her goal. After many years of rejections, hardships, and roads with dead ends, the 32-year-old songwriter became a powerhouse in the music industry.

With just one number 1 hit and three songs ranked in the top 10 Billboard charts, Natti Natasha outranked established figures like Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande, and even Beyoncé showing that quality over quantity still matters. The Dominican native’s career rocketed in 2017 with the song “Otra Cosa” a featured with Puerto Rican superstar and reggaeton living legend Daddy Yankee, but it was after her song “Criminal” with Ozuna that Natti broke records. The song reached the top five of the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart and became the most-watched music video overall in 2017. Determined to not become a one-hit-wonder, she released “Sin Pijama” in collaboration with Becky G. Within three weeks the song was certified platinum and in just six months surpassed one billion views on YouTube — being this the most-watched female song of the year 2018.

Signed under Pina Records, Natti has collaborated with other important figures of the industry like the “Queen of Telenovelas” Thalia, Bad Bunny, R.K.M & Ken-Y, but what we’ve being anxiously waiting is a collaboration with Ivy Queen, in fact she expressed to Dominican newspaper Listin Diario that she admires Ivy, words that caught the attention of “La Reina del Reggaeton.” “Thanks for the respect, admiration. That’s having class and more than anything intelligence,” wrote Ivy on her Twitter account.

While we wait for a non-announced or confirmed collaboration between Ivy Queen or Natti Natasha, the “La mejor versión de mí” singer just surprised all her legion of fans with the “Runaway” song, featuring Daddy Yankee, Sebastian Yatra and the Jonas Brothers — being this the first time Nick, Joe, and Kevin sings in Spanish as reported by Billboard

With high caliber artists like Natti Natasha — a great representation of the Latin woman — is undoubtedly a great time to be part of this generation and enjoy the explosive Latin wave that is wiping out other popular genres. We’ll keep an eye on our girl simply because we just can’t get enough of her.
