Chance Perdomo, a celebrated Afro-Latino actor known for his roles in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and Gen V, tragically passed away at the age of 27 after a motorcycle accident. 

Born in Los Angeles and raised in England, Perdomo’s diverse heritage, including Guatemalan roots from his mother’s side, added depth to his identity and career. 

In a statement released by his publicist on Saturday evening, news of Perdomo’s passing was confirmed, revealing that the actor had succumbed to injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash. The statement offered condolences on behalf of Perdomo’s family and representatives. 

Chance Perdomo Was a True Artist

Perdomo gained recognition for his portrayal of Ambrose Spellman, a prominent character in Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, a Netflix series that reimagined the world of Sabrina Spellman with a darker, more eerie tone. His performance as the pansexual warlock garnered praise for its depth and complexity, elevating the show beyond its predecessor, Sabrina the Teenage Witch. 

More recently, Perdomo starred as Andre Anderson in the first season of Gen V, a spin-off from the popular series The Boys. His character, a student at Godolkin University with the ability to manipulate metal, added intrigue to the show’s dynamic ensemble cast. 

The producers of Gen V expressed their shock and devastation at Perdomo’s sudden passing, describing him as a “force of nature” both on and off-screen. Despite the loss, details regarding the impact on the show’s production remained unclear. 

In addition to his television work, Perdomo appeared in several After movies and was slated to star in the upcoming film Bad Man alongside Seann William Scott and Rob Riggle. 

Chance Perdomo leaves behind a legacy of talent and charisma, remembered by fans and colleagues alike for his remarkable contributions to the entertainment industry.
