The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has announced its full 2022 lineup, and it has not disappointed fans.
Coachella will return in April with a lineup of concerts taking place over two weekends — April 15-17 and April 22-24.
The lineup includes Kanye West (officially as Ye), Billie Eilish, Harry Styles, and Swedish House Mafia, who headline the festival at the Empire Polo Club in Indio.
However, the festival will also feature a diverse repertoire of Latino talent, including The Marias, Omar Apollo, the Martinez Brothers, Cuco, Nicki Nicole, Alaina Castillo, Paco Osuna, Layla Benitez, Karol G, Jessie Reyez, Chicano Batman, Nathy Peluso, and more.
The 2022 event promises to be one of the most organized in recent years, especially after two years of pandemic and cancellations.
As for virus protocols, in October, the Coachella festival announced it would no longer require vaccination for 2022 festival attendees, Pitchfork reported.
“After seeing first-hand the low transmission data and successful implementation of safety protocols at our other festivals this past month, we feel confident that we can update our health policy to allow for: Negative COVID-19 test taken within 72 hours of the event OR proof of full vaccination,” organizers wrote on social media.
