Bad Bunny’s voice now reaches audiences far outside the places where his music first found its footing. Stadiums across the Americas already know his presence. He will perform in Tokyo on March 7, bringing his music directly to one of Asia’s most influential music markets. His appearance follows years of global demand and reinforces his position as one of the most listened to artists in the world.

Tokyo Prepares for Bad Bunny’s First Concert in Asia

Bad Bunny will headline Spotify’s Billions Club Live series in Tokyo as part of his DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS World Tour, marking his first concert in Asia. Spotify described the event as recognition of his global reach and of Latin music’s ability to connect with audiences across continents.

The performance will take place as a single night created specifically for his strongest listeners in Japan. The Billions Club Live series honors artists whose songs each surpassed one billion streams, placing Bad Bunny among a small group whose work consistently reaches massive global listenership.

He is expected to perform 28 songs that crossed that milestone, including Tití Me Preguntó, Callaita, and DtMF, tracks that helped establish his presence across international markets.

A Historic Year Strengthened His Global Standing

The Tokyo concert follows the success of his album DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, which received the Grammy Award for Album of the Year. The recognition established a historic precedent as the first fully Spanish language album to receive that honor.

His Super Bowl halftime performance also became the fourth most watched in history, drawing an average of 128.2 million viewers in the United States, according to Nielsen. That performance expanded his visibility and introduced his music to audiences far outside his existing fan base.

Spotify later named him the most streamed artist in the world for the fourth time in 2025, confirming sustained global dominance across streaming platforms.

Latin Music Expands Its Presence in Global Markets

Spotify previously hosted Billions Club Live concerts with Ed Sheeran in Dublin, Miley Cyrus in Paris, and The Weeknd in Los Angeles. Bad Bunny now brings the series to Tokyo, extending his tour into Asia and strengthening his global reach.

His performance shows how Latin music continues reaching new audiences and confirms his place among the most influential artists working today. The Tokyo concert connects his Puerto Rican identity with listeners who helped elevate his music into one of the most successful careers in modern music.
