Gloria Calderón Kellett has officially joined the Hyphenate Media Group, a company co-founded by Cris Abrego and Eva Longoria, which is a significant expansion of her GloNation Studios.

Gloria Calderón Kellett Continues to Make ‘Jefa’ Moves

According to Deadline, Hyphenate Media Group’s investment provides Calderón Kellett with enhanced resources and infrastructure to develop and produce content. This partnership is notable as it represents the first time an entrepreneur has joined forces with Abrego and Longoria since they launched their venture with a strategic investment from Banijay Entertainment in October 2023.

Calderón Kellett is known for her brilliant contributions to the entertainment industry. Her impressive portfolio includes being a showrunner, producer, director, playwright, and actress. She co-created the critically acclaimed series One Day at a Time and is recognized for her work on the Prime Video series With Love. Recently, she also helped produce The Horror of Dolores Roach.

Knowing how to juggle so many achievements under her belt, Calderón Kellett is as excited for this one. “I am thrilled about this deal with Cris, Eva, and Hyphenate Media Group. Throughout my career, I’ve been in a number of overall deals with great companies, but they never quite met my ambition. I don’t just want GloNation to make content for one buyer; I want to create and produce content for all buyers both independently and with partners. The infrastructure offered by Hyphenate will help accelerate GloNation’s growth like never before,” she said as reported by Deadline.

Honoring Celia Cruz

The collaboration with the Celia Cruz Estate is particularly significant, as Cruz, the legendary “Queen of Salsa,” remains an iconic figure in music history.

Cruz collaborated with renowned artists such as Tito Puente and Johnny Pacheco, leaving an enduring legacy in the Latin music scene. Her accolades include four Grammy Awards, three Latin Grammy Awards, and a posthumous Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy in 2016.

It’s great to see Calderón Kellett continue to push the envelope in the entertainment industry. May this project be as fruitful as possible.
