The image of an unbreakable family unity has faded. The legal dispute between Daddy Yankee and his ex-wife, Mireddys González, has strained relationships, with their daughter, Jesaaelys, seemingly taking sides.

During the high-profile court proceedings that initially put the former couple under scrutiny, Jesaaelys stood by her mother. The father-daughter bond suffered. Yankee admitted their relationship had been “lacerated” but insisted she would always be his “queen.”

A $250 Million Lawsuit Shakes Daddy Yankee’s Daughter Jesaaelys

A reported new lawsuit now places them back in the spotlight. According to multiple sources in Puerto Rico, the reggaeton star has filed a $250 million lawsuit against González and her sister, Ayeicha González Castellanos. The accusations include withholding information, destroying evidence, misusing resources, and preventing him from making financial decisions within his companies, El Cartel Records Inc. and Los Cangris Inc.

Jesaaelys and Mireddys have responded through social media. The influencer posted a cryptic message: “You can’t treat people like trash and worship God at the same time.” Her mother turned to faith, sharing: “While the world says, ‘After the storm comes the calm,’ God says, ‘I am the calm in the midst of the storm.’”

Raphy Pina Speaks Out

The lawsuit also brings in Raphy Pina, a close friend and music producer. Pina, who is in a relationship with Natti Natasha, addressed the situation directly. “When you have hate in your heart, you can’t have God in your life,” he wrote on Instagram. He followed with another message: “Family is family.”

Pina appeared unbothered by the controversy. He shared images of himself traveling to Paris with Natasha, attending a fashion show, and preparing for business in Spain. “First Paris for Off-White, then Madrid and Barcelona to promote bachata, and we’ll finish with a special private event. But more than work, the greatest thing is doing it with the people we love. Family is always the priority.”

Daddy Yankee Seeks Compensation

Daddy Yankee, now retired from music, is demanding compensation for what he describes as a “breach of fiduciary duty, contract violations, and damages.” The lawsuit alleges that Mireddys and her sister mismanaged funds, withheld critical financial details, and engaged in actions that caused substantial financial losses.

The once-private struggles of one of reggaeton’s most celebrated figures continue to play out in the public eye.
