Five Nostalgic Songs to Prepare Us for RBD's Reunion belatina latine

“Prepara tu corbata,” the SoyRebelde.World official website reads. Guess what, mi gente?! RBD’s reunion is finally happening!

After multiple heart-stopping reunions throughout the last few years, the official news of RBD’s comeback is here. Five out of six of the original members will be back on January 19.

What can we expect from the original members? Can we expect Anahí, Dulce María, and Maite Perroni to sing all the girl anthem songs? Will Christian Chávez and Christopher von Uckermann need a third male member, or can they hold down the fort?

Will there be special stars throughout the tour to fill in the absence of Alfonso Herrera?

Whatever the case may be, we are more than ready for new music and a world tour.

To kick off the emotional rollercoaster – and dust off our RBD uniforms – let’s look back at five nostalgic songs that will prepare us for RBD’s upcoming reunion.

‘Rebelde’

We have to start here. I have chills thinking about hearing this song live again. It’s been over a decade since we’ve heard this in person. Mind you, the members did perform live for an online reunion, but let’s be real: everything hits better en vivo y en directo.

‘Sálvame’

Anahí is a key figure in RBD’s success. There’s an Anahí without RBD, but would there be an RBD without Anahí? Highly doubt it. This heart-wrenching single – arguably one of the most popular RBD songs since 2004 – proves that Anahí’s one of RBD’s stars.

‘Solo Quédate En Silencio’

This is one of my personal favorites. It reminds me of the members dancing and singing to each other. There was such an entertaining dynamic seeing the six (at the time) sing their parts and have chemistry with one another. The video is also incredible – remember when we would die over the members? They changed pop culture forever.

‘Tras de Mí’

This was the original YHLQMDLG jam. It’s a call to let go of the past, and embrace what the future will hold.

‘Futuro Ex-novio’

Lastly, remember this tune sung by the males of the band? Honestly, Christian Chávez would sound great singing this by himself. He would 100 percent slay!
