Latino Families Love Hard and Communicating After a Separation is Important – TalkingParents App is a Great Solution

TalkingParents

Co-parenting can be a challenging task, especially when parents struggle to communicate effectively. That’s where the TalkingParents app comes in, providing a platform for parents to communicate about parenting topics such as scheduling and appointments in a monitored and safe environment.

Recently, the ever-so-helpful app was featured on BELatina TV, highlighting its benefits for Latino and multicultural families. The app’s founder, Stephen Nixon, an attorney specializing in Family Law, created the app after a family member experienced difficulties in communicating with their children’s mother.

Nixon and Heather Ruiz, TalkingParents’ Director of Marketing, sat down with Karent Sierra to talk about how the app works and its significance to families.

What you need to know about the TalkingParents app

During the episode, they spoke about the key components that make up the app. For instance, the TalkingParents app allows for time-stamped messages with read receipts, so parents can easily keep track of communication. It also has a separate feature for minor children to send and receive messages to both parents, keeping them out of adult discussions and decisions. In addition, legal and healthcare professionals can view all communication between parties, which can be helpful in situations where one parent is creating a toxic environment or when mental health evaluations are necessary.

One of the app’s standout features is that it can be utilized in any language. The website and app provide records in a wide variety of languages, making it accessible to multicultural families.

“People can communicate through TalkingParents in any language using any character input on any sort of keyboard or device or service will not only work. Our records will be intact as well. The other great thing too is with our video calling and our phone calling feature, all of the calls are recorded and then you get a transcription of those as well and those can be in different languages as well,” the founder told “BELatina News.”

Without a doubt, the app makes it easier for parents who speak different languages to communicate effectively.

The TalkingParents app is a valuable tool for any community, especially for those who place a great emphasis on family, such as the Latino community. It helps reduce stress and conflict in co-parenting situations, allowing parents to resolve issues on their own without letting them escalate.
